This song tells the story of when I was a young boy who lost my family in a supermarket. My siblings and mother dispersed, and I couldn't find them. Low and behold, in the middle of an aisle I found a small TV that was playing Disney's "The Beauty and the Beast", and it had just started. There was a single chair in front of the TV. So, I spent the next two hours watching the movie in full, captivated by the film and the music, in particular Mrs. Pott's vocals on the title track.
lyrics
Superstore,
Mom is finding her next book,
Sister on her looks, brother at Bait & Hook
I’m sittin’ here with a TV and a chair
many of my fairy tales from Disney
No, I won’t die from boredom
In my Superstore Oblivion
Castle fears and the forest fairy tales
Far, far from the village square’s busy streets
Hey family, you’re gonna have to let me be
They are singing melody just for me
With the wolves howlin’ at the moon
let the beauty find her beast
The beast is pretty bad ass dude when ya think about, when ya think about it
And that Belle has that magic spell, if ya believe in it, believe in it, believe in it,
That Gaston no testicles, if you ask me, ask me, I’m sure it’s true, tell your friends
Mrs. Potts and her lungs of steel still stealin’ me, stealin’ me, away
